Planning a private Jamaica tour starts with three details: where you are staying, the places you want to visit, and the number of guests travelling with you. From Negril, Lucea or Green Island, Ronica’s Tours helps you choose a practical outing with private transportation for your party.
Start with your resort and pickup area
Give your accommodation’s full name when choosing a tour. Our usual tour pickup areas are Negril, Lucea and Green Island. That includes Negril accommodations, Grand Palladium Jamaica and Lady Hamilton in Lucea, and Princess Grand Jamaica and Princess Senses The Mangrove in Green Island. Check the pickup options on the individual tour page, because routes and rates differ.
If you are arriving by cruise ship or staying outside these areas, contact Ronica’s Tours before booking. Tell us your arrival point and any required return time so we can check whether the selected experience fits your plans.
Choose the experience before combining stops
Pick the part of Jamaica you most want to experience, then choose a tour built around that interest. A waterfall visit, a cultural outing and a rum experience can each involve different routes and arrangements. Adding attractions simply because they are on your wish list can leave less time to enjoy them.
For a planned combination, explore the YS Falls and Appleton Estate private tour or the Black River Safari and Appleton Estate private tour. The YS Falls combination visits the falls first, then Appleton Estate, with no swimming after the rum tasting. Read each page’s availability and admission information before selecting a date.
Prefer a flexible local outing? Our private custom sightseeing tour includes three planned stops along a practical route. Send your intended stops before booking. We review the route with you; distant attractions may require their own dedicated tour.
For other interests, compare our Jamaican food and culture experience, Benta Falls and Roaring River tour, Negril sunset and beach tour or Cinnamon Hill golf experience. Choose your Negril, Lucea or Green Island pickup option on the selected page and check its inclusions before booking.
Check what the price includes
Our standard private tour base rate covers one or two passengers. Additional charges apply separately to passengers three to six, with a maximum of six guests. Select your departure location and passenger count to see the applicable total.
Attraction admission is not included in every experience. Check the Included and Not Included sections for the tour you choose. Also allow for meals, personal purchases and any optional activities you would like to add. Contact us if an inclusion is unclear before you pay.
Share the details that help your driver
Provide your preferred date, accommodation, group size and a working phone or WhatsApp number. Tell us about mobility needs or other arrangements that could affect the itinerary. Departure time and the day’s duration depend on the route, traffic and attraction arrangements; confirm these details for your booking.
For waterfall outings, read the tour’s packing advice. For the YS Falls and Appleton combination, bring swimwear, a towel, water shoes, sunscreen and a dry change of clothes. Keep the rum tasting after water activities.
Arrange your airport transfer separately
An airport transfer and a day tour serve different purposes. If you need a pickup from Sangster International Airport (MBJ), use our private airport transfer booking page. Provide your flight number, arrival date and accommodation. Choose the correct one-way or round-trip option and review the passenger total before booking.
